Dr Cheryl Rahman

Dr Cheryl Rahman obtained her first degree in Applied Microbiology and Biotechnology from Napier University in Edinburgh, followed by a PhD in Molecular Biology from the University of Edinburgh. She has several years of post-doctoral research experience from the University of Nottingham in the area of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine. During this time she published a number of research manuscripts, reviews and patent applications on the development of biomaterial systems for tissue repair and local drug delivery. She also had a number of successful grant applications in these areas. She has a wide range of expertise in molecular and cellular biology techniques, biomaterials and drug delivery. Cheryl is now a freelance editor with considerable expertise in editing manuscripts, particularly for non-native English speakers.
