Dr Darragh Crotty

Dr Darragh Crotty received a Joint Honours BSc (1.1) in Pharmacology and Chemistry from University College Dublin and went on to obtain a PhD in Physics from Trinity College Dublin. During his PhD and subsequent two years of post-doctoral research, his work spanned a broad range of topics, including cell biology, enzymology, spin biochemistry, bioelectromagnetics, micro/nano-sensors, neuroscience, nanotoxicology and nanomedicine. He has published in peer-reviewed journals, including a first-authored paper in PNAS, and, for the past few years, he has worked freelance in science communication. Editing manuscripts for those with English as a second language is a significant component of this work.
