Dr Robin Clugston

Dr Robin Clugston earned a first class MSci (Hons) degree in Anatomy and Embryology at the University of Glasgow, Scotland, followed by a PhD in Neuroscience at the University of Alberta, Canada. In addition to his work as a freelance scientific editor, Robin is currently conducting postdoctoral research at Columbia University, New York, in the department of preventive medicine and nutrition. His main interest lies in lipid biology, with a particular focus on the metabolism of vitamin A. During his 10 years of biomedical research experience, Robin has published a number of peer-reviewed manuscripts in leading scientific journals. His editing experience extends to work on original scientific manuscripts, literature reviews, grant proposals and theses. His areas of expertise include biochemistry, cell biology, developmental biology, medical science, molecular biology and physiology.
