Dr Stephanie Gardham graduated with a first class BSc (Hons) in Biology from the University of Nottingham, prior to completing an MSc in Aquatic Resource Management (gaining distinction) at King’s College London. She has since completed a PhD in environmental science (aquatic ecotoxicology) at Macquarie University, in Australia, and has worked for over 2 years in environmental consultancies. Stephanie has produced four academic research papers for peer-reviewed journals, several abstracts for oral presentations, grant applications, proposals and multiple environmental reports. Stephanie currently works full-time as a freelance scientific editor, with a focus on editing manuscripts by authors whose first language is not English. She has expertise in ecotoxicology, biodiversity assessments, environmental science, aquatic/marine science, ecology and climate modelling. Stephanie is a Member of the Society of Environmental Toxicology and Chemistry and a Professional Member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.
