Dr Jenny Cattermole

Dr Jenny Cattermole obtained her first degree in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University, and a PhD in Immunochemistry from the University of Southampton, where she worked on human B lymphocyte development at the Tenovus Cancer Research Laboratory. She went on to gain a further 9 years of postdoctoral research experience in Immunology and Molecular Biology, at Auckland Medical School in New Zealand, Edinburgh University and Roslin Institute, and published a number of papers over her research career. She now works as a freelance science editor and proofreader, and has several years’ experience editing papers for submission to high profile journals, in particular for authors whose first language is not English. Her areas of expertise include immunology, molecular and cell biology and cancer research and she also has experience proofreading and editing papers in a wide variety of medical fields such as oncology, rheumatology and surgery, as well as theses and medical textbooks. Jenny is a Member of the Society for Editors and Proofreaders.
